      It might not sound very nice but that is what has worked for sharks for millions of years. Sharks are very different from mammals like us who need to rely on our mother’s milk and a lot of teaching before we are strong enough to survive on our own. Shark eggs contain a yolk that has all of the nutrients they need to grow, and eventually when they hatch they rely on their strong instincts to hide and hunt without needing to be taught.
