Big insects like dragonflies have around a million neurons, but its not necessarily how many, but what you do with ’em. In researching this question I found a paper (https://elifesciences.org/articles/26478) that showed dragonflies brains contain neurons that actively predict where their flying prey might go next, which is pretty cool!
