I once caught a careless scientist named Kyle when he was feeding me bits of fish but since I didn’t get to eat him I don’t think he counts as ‘prey’.
Usually we find relatively small fish or crab remains in catshark stomachs when we have looked so it is hard to tell what the largest specimen is. Their teeth are designed more for gripping and tearing rather than rending meat off extremely large prey (like a white shark or a tiger shark) so I don’t think they eat anything bigger than themselves!
