• Question: How tall is a Hazel Dormouse?

      That’s a hard one! Because the Hazel Dormouse is so bushy it looks bigger than it actually is, which still is not very big at all! I would guess about 4cm (1.5 inches) tall on all fours. They weight around 17g to 20g but just before hibernation they like to put on more weight for winter warmth and end up weighing around 30g to 40g!
