      Well, sort of (though it’s a rather short life) – once a male dragonfly has met a female he will hang onto her until she has laid hers eggs. Some species mate on the wing, forming a mating “wheel” where each holds the other behind the head with a set of claws on their tail – sounds weird by is very cool looking!
      After the egg are laid and summer is over the adults die…
