      Cranes appear in more than ten different franchises. Mostly those are represented by TV series, but some are feature films and some are both. For example, Kung Fu Panda has three full feature films, several short films and TV series, all of which feature a crane character.

      Then there are films available in other languages, for example, The Heron and The Crane:

      On top of this, there is a special kind of a shot that is being used in filmmaking, called the crane shot. It is made with a camera on a crane – the machine that got its name from us crane birds.
