Genomes change constantly, but dragonflies look pretty much the same as we did 300 million years ago (we can tell by looking at fossil dragonflies)!

A famous scientist once compared my genome to a mobile. All cyanobacteira genomes have core functions such as the options to ring and text people on phone, whereas all other functions depend on the environment similar to apps which depend on the needs of the user.
